Partaking in regular exercise helps to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to stay in good shape. To reduce the risk of illness, it is important to embrace an active lifestyle. Find below some tips for a healthy body: 

  • Participating in intentional exercise can have health benefits. Sedentary activities, such as TV viewing, computer use and sitting, should be limited.
  • Adults should do a minimum of 2.5 hours of moderate-intensity or 1.25 hours of vigorous-intensity physical activity throughout the week.
  • Children and adolescents should do a minimum of 1 hour of moderate- or vigorous-intensity activity every day, with vigorous-intensity activity taking place for a minimum of 3 days every week.
